Author Submission Process
Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure a smooth and successful submission experience on our platform.
Step 1: Manuscript Preparation
Ensure your manuscript is an original work that has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration elsewhere. Your submission should be well-structured and clearly presented throughout. The title should be specific, informative, and engaging — accurately capturing the scope and contribution of the study. You must include an abstract of 150–250 words that concisely covers the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Additionally, provide 3–5 keywords to aid indexing and discoverability. The main body of the article should typically follow the structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion/Conclusion.
Step 2: Formatting & Style
Adherence to formatting guidelines is essential and manuscripts should be submitted in .docx format only. Use a standard, readable font such as Times New Roman at 12pt, with double-spacing maintained throughout the document for readability. All citations must follow a consistent vancouver style — and our built-in reference manager can assist with formatting. Figures and tables must be high-resolution, numbered consecutively, and each accompanied by a descriptive caption placed immediately below the element.
Step 3: Online Submission
All submissions are made exclusively through our online portal only. During the submission process you will be asked to select the target journal and article type, then enter the article's title, abstract, and keywords. You will also need to add all contributing authors and designate one as the corresponding author responsible for communication throughout the review process. Finally, upload the complete manuscript file before proceeding to the review and submission confirmation step.
Step 4: Review Process
Once submitted, your article enters our review pipeline and its progress can be tracked at any time from your Author Dashboard. Every submission first undergoes an initial editorial check to verify completeness and scope fit. It is then routed to either an AI-assisted review or a traditional double-blind peer review, depending on your chosen submission type. Following review, you will receive a formal decision — Accept, Reject, or Revisions Required — along with detailed reviewer comments to guide any necessary revisions.
Step 5: Post-Acceptance
Once your article is accepted, it moves into the production phase. You will first be prompted to settle the Article Processing Charge (APC), which varies by review type and is displayed at the point of submission. Our editorial team will then undertake copy-editing and typesetting to prepare your article to publication standards. Upon completion, your article is published online with a permanent DOI and becomes immediately accessible to a global readership through the I Research platform.
